Hailey Bieber's Rhode Acquired by e.l.f. Beauty for $1 Billion
Hailey Bieber's skincare brand, Rhode, has been acquired by e.l.f. Beauty in a landmark deal valued at up to $1 billion. The agreement includes $600 million in cash, $200 million in e.l.f. stock, and an additional $200 million contingent on Rhode’s future performance. Founded in 2022, Rhode has quickly gained popularity with its minimalist, science-based skincare products, generating $212 million in net sales as of March 2025. As part of the acquisition, Bieber will remain actively involved as Rhode’s Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation, and will also serve as a strategic advisor to e.l.f. Beauty.
